Wednesday Workout and other Problems

Swamped with Mr. Mom duties. The house is a mess, we spent all afternoon on the laundry. After a lot of working out the body is tired and sore, but also hard.

We woke up tired yesterday and never really perked up. We really didn't have much to say, anyway.

We did collude with the Soviets over the weekend, and here's what we cranked out over borscht and vodka and the occasional Katyusha barrage: 'Last week former Minneapolis Police Officer Derrek Chauvin was convicted of murdering George Floyd. At about the same time as the verdict was being read, in Columbus Ohio 16 year old Ma'Khia Bryant tried to knife a woman with whom she was having a very public neighborhood dispute. Unfortunately for Ms. Bryant but fortunately for her intended victim she did so in front of a police officer, who shot and killed her. Because Ms. Bryant was black, no matter that her intended victim is black as well, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, various Black Lives Matter organizers and the media professed outrage at yet another police killing of a black person. NBA superstar Lebron James Tweeted, “You’re Next #Accountabilty” along with a picture of the officer who saved the life of Ms. Bryant’s intended victim. This was a big deal...Click it, comrades.

We did a little work on '76, and once again the chapter in question looked pretty good. From there, the Korean War Chapter.

Hey, don't want a pathetic middle-aged loser ogling you, don't wear hot pink leggings with a matching sports bra....There are women who just wear shorts and a T-shirt to the gym, you know.

Anyway...We realized that as the war begins maybe a few months after the fall of Saigon and Operation Frequent Wind, that Task Force 76, which included two carriers and something like 30 other ships, is probably still floating around someplace. Subic? Guam? Maybe we can weave them into the Korean war chapter.
