Will's Good Idea for the Week of 4/4/21

Happy Easter to all our Christian readers. As reader(s) may imagine, Easter isn't that big a deal around here. Actually our immediate neighbors* celebrate, as do the Indian family on the other side of them. But overall, we estimate Christianity finishes a distant third in our neighborhood. Us Hindus and Jews will be telling inside jokes about newbie religions all day. We kid, we kid. We and the Stroocklettes will be watching The Ten Commandments tonight like everyone else. If the Roman's had just offed Jesus nice and quiet we'd all be sacrificing chickens to Zeus right now.

The third Wuhan Wave is here in New Jersey. We're back up to 3,500- 4,500 cases per day. Deaths are way down, 20-30 per day. Cold comfort of course.** This is due to doctors figuring out treatments, and the vaccination of the older populace.

If you haven't figured out that lockdowns and masks don't work, then you're retarded. Or Gavin Newsom. Of the Four Horsemen of Democrat governors, our own Phil Murphy is the least worst. Dr. Fauci should leave, preferably through a second story window.

Our own Bridgewater-Raritan School District, led by the Coward 'Doctor' Thomas Ficarra, is planning full day in person next year. Happily Ficarra, who was an interim anyway, will be moving on. Good riddance to bad rubbish. As for the board, tar and feathers.

We'll break our prohibition against weekend novel writing today, partly because we don't have any other projects, partly because we got the ju-ju. We'll be writing about F-117s and Tornado bombers on the flight line.

At this point we're going to stop overthinking and just write want we want. Later we'll go in lay the groundwork for that, lead-in scenes and so forth.
