I'd like to get the World a Vax

We are tired and sore after taking youngest daughter to the pool yesterday and playing with her in the water for 2 hours. Don't tell us that wasn't a workout. Something is wrong with our foot, feels like residual gout scarring and it's not going away.

Speaking of going away, Mrs. Stroock is taking the girls to Indiana to see their grandfather. When she did that last summer we were inspired to write a subplot in The Great Nuclear War of 1975 about a man walking from Rhode Island to his family in Indiana. The Matt subplot works great. A year later we have not one but 2 nuke novels. We are very good at what we do.

Those cav scenes in The Weser are coming along just fine.

What Will's Watching, Olympic Swimming. All that effort, a lifetime of getting up at 5 AM and swimming 50 laps in the pool to warm up, to come in behind the field by 2 seconds and be in last place. It's sad. And it's bad TV. Watching people swim is not interesting.

This blog wishes the Feds would hire a really top notch advertising firm, someone like Young & Rubicam, for whom our grandfather worked for 50+ years, or Sterling Cooper. Don Draper would come up with the Buy the World a Coke of Vax commercials, 'I'd like to get the world a vax, and keep teach it harmony...That's the safe vax...' Someone has got to get it across to these self serving bureaucrats that what they're doing doesn't work.

The Feds should run a campaign in which they empathize with people's concerns.  For the love of Kek don't say 'vaccine hesitancy'. Talk about the process. Explain how the vaccine was developed so fast. Explain why that's safe. And don't have a public health type, or god forbid Fauci do it.* No more lab coats! Make it a pitch from the chairmen of [insert pharma company name]. Stay relentlessly on message.

This blog isn't going to tell you what to do. This is America, albeit, Joe Biden's America, but not really. If you think that guy got 81 million votes, then I'd like to interest you in some Arkansas real-estate opportunities. Anyway, if you ask us, 'Will, should we get the vax?' We say yes.
