We are tired and sore after returning to the weights yesterday. That is good. We lifted despite the pain in our triceps. A tear of some kind? We'd like to hit the treadmill today but as of this writing that doesn't seem like a good idea. Maybe it will this afternoon. We shall see.
Mrs. Stroock's Penn State (ranked 4th) defeated Indiana 24-0. Meanwhile Ohio State (no world beaters this year) pummeled New Jersey's Rutgers 52-13. It wasn't that close. Fans of actual big time college football programs continue to point, mock and shame. As is their wont. As well they should. Penn State should be ranked #3 today. Mrs. Stroock doesn't think they're all that.
In other sports news, via Instapundit we hear the Fuck Joe Biden chant has reached NASCAR rallies. What took you so long guys? For foreign reader(s), a NASCAR rally is definitely MAGA country.
Sometime today someone will put together a fuck Joe Biden montage of college football games from yesterday. Hmmm...Auburn, Alabama*, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Texas Christian (those good Christian folks really ought to know better), Southern Methodist** (when you've lost the Methodists, Joe) LSU (our grandmother went there before WWII and knew YA Tittle), FSU....In fact, the whole damn, dirty Southeastern Athletic Conference.
You'll get Fuck Joe Biden chant in the Northeast. Staten Island, for example. Certain sections of Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia and large portions of South Philly besides. South Boston, maybe. Southern New Jersey. Fuck Joe Biden will pass into the mists of time, to be dimly recalled like streaking, Hands Across America, Tamagotchi****, Napster, a thing of things to be associated with what is sure to be a horrible decade.
Anyway....so our British Tornado squadron (remember Darling and Evans?) will attack the Soviet missile silo at Yedrovo. We're going to give this a lot of lead in, a lot of the squadron pilots coming together before launching. Lots of ra-ra, etc. Yes, they'll think the attack is damn near suicidal. It is. This will be the first silo attack and it will set the stage for all the others. The others include: Aussie F-111s in the Soviet Far East, Japanese F-15s, Israeli F16s (who's leading that one, hmmmm?), Italian Tornados, American A-6s and Tomahawks in the Barents, anyone else that strikes my fancy. Feel free to make suggestions.
