We had a rainy drive home this morning in which we thought about tine and the past. We drove north up Delaware Route-1. Back in the summer of 1994 we drove south to see our then girlfriend, ticking off the miles in near agony. We were that love-struck. Here's the young couple in 1994:

As one does once one hits the New Jersey Turnpike we got down to business. That is, we spent some time thinking about what we'd like to be writing about.
We'll talk more about it for the Saturday Update but things have been going well and we can envision some time becoming free.
Given that Joe seems to be weeks away from giving it up to Iran, we thought our idea about a US/Iran War might be interesting. We've always loved the idea. Iranian back terror in America. A cross border anti-terror war in the south. An all-out invasion of Lebanon. An aerial campaign against Iran's nuclear program. Hmmm.....
Two issues we'd need to research: drone warfare, cyber warfare.
We're thinking the project isn't suitable for the summer sneak in.
Anyway....after spending two weeks staring at maps of the Kremlin we realized we had the spark of a reading project idea, back to Russian history? Maybe, comrade. Maybe.
