Getting to Unmasked

Reader(s) don't need this blog to tell them that Democrats office holders across the country are dropping mask mandates.  Even that bunch of communist perverts can see where the political momentum is headed. The mandates go next month here in New Jersey. This blog maintains that our own governor, Phil Murphy is the least worst of the blue-state governors and not even all that bad overall - for a Democrat. I dunno. Maybe it's just Helsinki Syndrome. As in Helsinki Sweden. [Finland-Ed] If you people don't get that reference....

How to read this situation? The great Stephen J. Miller has said again and again that the pandemic doesn't end until we end it. So mission accomplished there. Still the pandemic squad had their way with this nation for two years. Is this really a victory? At best the Dem's caving on masks feels like a ballgame we won on a last second field goal, but  should have won easily. This blog is cynical and jaded. 

Reminder, I've been to places without a mask that you wouldn't believe [Another reference-Ed]. Schools, doctor's offices, business in the state of Delaware that require a mask. We've been hassled precisely once and, in that case told the manager to fuck off, 'You have my order?' We're not saying we're a Canadian Freedom Trucker, but we have fought small fights. What Will's watching, The Expanse series finale. Are you watching The Expanse? If not, why not? This season was only six episodes, we suspect because producers spent a tonne on space scenes. These were well done. The finale was solid, but rushed. We were like, 'Wait, this is how it's ending?' The Expanse is certainly better than anything Lucas Films is churning out. Overall a fine finish after the disastrous Season-4.  3/4.
