A decade now. Hard to believe.
A story I've oft told. A story I'll tell again. I was in the adjunct lounge, taking care of a few things before class. I logged on, went to Drudge and...there was the headline. I was always glad it was Drudge that told me. I thought/hoped it was a prank, but Breitbart confirmed his death. I was damn near inconsolable and even now, well...
None of the conservative gains of the last decade happen without Andrew Breitbart. Not a goddamn one. Without him we'd all be sitting around a conference table doing our best George Will.
He knew me and I knew him.
I am Andrew Breitbart. I stuck with being a college prof, and played a few tricks on campus because of Andrew Breitbart.
