Will's Jewish History & Sports Matrix

Good Friday Morning Stroock's Books commune.

A post Holocaust Remembrance Day thought....It's a funny thing, being Jewish in America. No one cares. Oh, you get the occasional yahoo who mouths of about 'the Jews' without realizing you're of the tribe. And Gab has more than it's fair share of toy-Hitler wannabes. Free speech means free speech for everyone. But in the grand scheme of Jewish history, no one in America cares.

The uninformed think the South has an anti-Sematic streak, but that's not true at all. In fact, quite the opposite. Jews were welcomed in the South as People of the Book. We know this from personal family recollections.  Here's the Jews Hill section of the Nachez Cemetery. Officially it's 'Jewish Hill', but everyone called it Jews Hill. We hvae family there.

What Will's Watching: The NBA Playoffs. Mrs. Stroock is a Delaware girl and by default a huge Philadelphia sports fan. Pro-tip young fellas, marry a girl who likes sports more than you. Anyway, Mrs. Stroock's beloved 76ers were playing an elimination game against the Toronto Raptors. The staid fans in Canada started taunting 76ers star Joel Embiid. 'Fuck Embiid! Fuck Embiid!' No, fuck you Toronto, as the 76ers took care of business last night. 'We the North?' The 76ers won by 30 points. Suck it, Trudeau.

Also we caught a few minutes of the NFL draft last night. We have become completely indifferent to the team by whom we used to live or die and have no idea who they drafted last night. Sounds like the Jets had a good night. The Jets are better off than the Giants, which is just incredible.  Exit observation, if you don't think ESPN's Suzy Kolber is a total babe...We have for ore than two decades. A Jewess to boot! We're everywhere.

Reader Question: What do you people want me to do this summer? Get The Final Storm ready for publication or write Battle of the GIUK Gap. We'll talk about this more during the Saturday update. We think we know.
