Today is the 34th(!) anniversary of our first girlfriend breaking up with us. We were 14. The fact that we remember the date after all this time helps explain some of our depression issues. We remembered the date at one year later at 15. We remember the date at 49. And if we're around, we'll remember the date at 64. She and I are FB friends and she even edited a few of our novels.
We took Youngest Daughter and Friend to pool yesterday. That's a great workout three days in a row. Today we rest.
This blog understands that there's a new Star Wars series, Andor, or some such, coming out this month on Disney +. We barely made it through the trailer. The Mandalorian was B +. Book of Boba Fett was an unfocused disaster. We stopped watching Kenobi after three episodes. We don't care. Reminder: Rogue One isn't as good as you think it is.
Okay. So there we have a nice subplot for the 1979 chapter of The New American Order. This chapter deals with refugees, squatters, housing, towns across the continent, etc, etc. Quebec separatists are ethnically cleansing the province. First, they throw out American refugees who've settled in Quebec. Then they attack English speaking refugee camps and towns. What's Prime Minister Trudeau to do? Maybe the Rockefeller Administration has to send troops across the border.
We still have plenty of nuclear ju-ju, but lack ju-ju of other kinds.
