We had an excellent Czech Pilsner yesterday with an Arturo Fuente Short Story. Damn, we feel like another. Those things are bad for you.

Because neither Benjamin nor Shapiro are common Jewish names, and one wouldn't find them in Los Angeles, anyway. Nope. No Jews there. If you want a really good entertainment lawyer, you're going to have to try...[shrugs] Jacksonville, Florida. Schmucks.

We won't pile on Joe's student loan bailout. But we will say this. The money ain't going to the profs. At Raritan Valley Community College, the humanities department had a couple of full-time professors per discipline and fobbed off the rest of the classes to adjuncts paid per class. That pay was about $2,400 per.* Teaching always was our side gig. We're a writer. We haven't set foot in a classroom in 7 years and will never do so again. 

*Classes were about $400 a pop.
