Will Goes the Full Limey

There's a Tory leadership contest in Britain. We won't bother to talk about the two empty pant loads in the race because we couldn't care less. The so-called conservative party has been in power for a dozen years and has nothing to show for it. We had thought Boris would inject energy and ideas into the party, but his big thing turned out to be environmental radicalism. We scoff at the 2019 version of ourself that thought these things about Boris. Anyway, here's a great article about the modern Tory squishes. Read the whole thing. Every word is 99 and 44/100s percent pure revulsion at the Tories, from the right. Conclusion: these are do-nothing Tories and they deserve to lose.

On a whim the other day we picked up the copy of Andrew Marr's The History of Modern Britian that we bought our grandfather a decade or so back. Which is nice. We can tell he read it because his Hatchard's bookmark was within. When our grandparents took us to London some 30 years ago [Don't Start-Ed] I'm not....anyway he took us to Hatchards. In the opening chapter, Marr describes Prime Minister Clement Atlee's cabinet, he filled it with talented, capable and interesting men. A far cry from today's cabinet which is filled with middle management types.

Here's another great article about British politicians, asking why 'they're such bores.'  Again read the whole thing. Okay, Boris has personality, give him that, the tosser. But May, Cameron...? I defy readers to name the PM between Blair and Cameron. We miss Tony Blair. Exit question: If Labour can't beat these losers in a few years, what should they do instead of politics?
