We don't want to go too far with this, but it is game day:
That jersey is vintage, not retro. Got it in 1989. Back them in fit us like a tent. We look pretty good. The underdog Giants have already had a great season. We expected nothing this year. We've no predictions for tonight's contest against the Eagles. But we can say that if we were the 14-3 Eagles we'd be approaching this game with great fear and trepidation. They're primed for an upset.
Last night we took Youngest Daughter to family fun night at school. We struck up a conversation with an Eagles fan, and chatted pleasantly about football before parting ways. We shook hands and wished him luck. Which was nice.
Things.
Sales have been very good all month and will surpass last month's sales by a solid margin. We think our twitter activity has actually driven up sales a bit. We saw the Netherlands trending so we tweeted about World War 1990: Nederland, for example. You get one new reader that could mean hundreds of dollars in the long run. Baby steps.
The readthrough of The New American Order is going slowly but well. We'll knock off a few chapters this weekend.
We spent a lot of time this week reading World War 1990: The Final Storm and banging our head against the computer screen. In doing so we made a lot of progress. The British and Italian Tornado scenes are a lot better. There's still the problem of organizing the briefing scenes and the tarmac scenes. Still we feel worry and that damn nag, like we should be sitting down with the MS and fixing it this afternoon. Damn it all.
We have come to a decision regarding TFS. It's not big enough. That's what feels off about the MS. There's just not enough going on. We'll add a couple of scenes about a British boomer sub at the suggestion of a fellow North American. We'll add a few scenes with USS George Washington and her strike group. More A-6s and Tomahawks for everyone. Take that, Ivan!
We've been expending mental energy on a nuclear war short story compilation. Assuming TNAO sells like 75 and 76, there's no reason not to do it.
We haven't thought about World War 1990: Norway all week. We are still going to start the book February 1. We intent to right one scene a day and take it slow. There's a lot going on. Heck, we still have no idea how it starts.
Well if you need to scare your little ones away from the fireplace, try hanging that picture above it. It will work better than any conventional fireguard. However if you see their left eye twitching… take it down. You’ve gone too far.
