Ye to Pat

Good back to back days at the gym yesterday. We feel gym fatigue setting in. Maybe we need some time off. People keep telling us we're losing weight, but we can't get the scale number down. It's only a number, but a number we like to see nonetheless.

Segue...Matt Walsh talks about the gym, women, men, men noticing women, and women shaming men for noticing them. Walsh talks more about a woman shaming a man for looking in her direction. Maybe it just wasn't the man she wanted to look? This is toxic femininity.  Nothing says 'Don't notice me, fellas,' like Lycra leggings and a halter top.  There are plenty of women at the gym in shorts or sweats and a T-shirt. Tights and bare midriffs aren't necessary. you gals know what you're doing. Don't get mad at us for noticing.

Patrick J. Buchanan has retired his column. For as long as we've followed politics Pat Buchanan has been lurking about. We first saw him on the McLaughlin Group in the late 80's. We always found him the most likable of the panelists, though we didn't agree with much of what he said. We rooted for Buchanan when he ran for the GOP nomination in 1992, hoping he would hurt President Bush. He scared us when he ran again in 1996. Establishment types like us weren't listening to or even interested in what Pat was saying. We thought his 2000s era books on government and empire were nuts. What's nuttier now, American First or Neocon intervention? We found a couple of good columns about Pat, here and here and urge reader(s) to click on through.

Segue again...Mackenzie Eaglen at 19FortyFive says the US needs to increase defense spending and argues against proposed GOP defense cuts amounting to $75 billion. 'What took decades to create will similarly take decades to un-do with robust defense spending that is predictable, consistent, and on-time.' Stroock's Books says those are rookie numbers. We gotta bring those numbers up. We'd start at $100 billion in defense cuts. We don't win wars anymore. Why fight them? [You're sounding like a Buchananite-Ed].

So, the Republican National Committee called me today looking for $265. Decorum got the better of me, but I told them in no uncertain terms that I don't give money to the GOPe and to go away. We may not be so polite next time. 'What are you wearing? Mind if I take off my pants?'

As we've noted before, watch Judea/Samaria. It's coming. The Jerusalem Post, 'As many as 13 Palestinians in the Jenin refugee camp on Thursday were killed in an extended battle with the IDF which was trying to thwart planned terror attacks as well as to capture at least three known Islamic Jihad terrorists.' The Iranians would find trouble in Judea/Samaria quite useful. For fifteen years the IDF has been training for war with Hezbollah. Can they fight a war against a Third Intifada?

New York City Californicates itself. Miranda Devine reports on the Illegal Alien takeover of midtown Manhattan, housed in expensive hotels, refusing food donations, fighting, rape. Behold the pic of the smiling sap welcoming the illegals at the Port Authority. Smile more. New York City you asked for this. New York City you voted for this. New York City, you deserve this.

Editor wants new article from me. Editor does not get new article till editor publishes old article as promised. That's how we roll.
