Good Saturday to the Stroock's books continuum.
Oldest Daughter is in yet another of her fancy shmancy debate tournaments and we're a judge. We woke up at 6 AM and drove and hour to get here at 7:30 sharp. We eschewed coffee so as to avoid pit stops. However, the coffee here is, well, let's not call it coffee.
As we write, four nice, polite, well appointment and good-looking young men are preparing for their debate round. Topic, labor and right to work laws. Actually, we're fine with the bass blandness of the topic. We're sick of big topics.
Frankly, between The New American Order, World War 1990: The Final Storm, and World War 1990: Norway, we've got too much going on. But that's the gig, man. We've done some good even great work on all projects.
We have completed our print readthrough of The New American Order, save for the future history which we are still working on. The devil is in the details, as they say. We have found a thing here or there to fix. We believe the final chapter which talks about the election of 1980 could use a few more scenes. Also some intro. Once again, who else? The New American Order is better than The Aftermath of 1976.
We have written one scene in World War 1990: Norway. It's a good scene and we are quite pleased with it. So far so good. We'll write another scene next week. We'll be taking things slow until time and space open up. That probably means until TNAO gets to the editor.
