Friday Will's Deliberating

Good afternoon Stroock's Books collective. This week we've had the first true days of spring. This morning air was cool and crisp, seemingly begging us to go for a walk.

We arose after a day of indecision. All yesterday we thought about what to write, and bounced from one idea for another. Again, we're in an excellent position for a 2023 summer sneak in. But what? We'd like to do something new. Heck, maybe we should just use the summer to finish World War 1990: Norway.  That'll be the fallback project. And it's a good one.

These machination aren't bad. They're good. They're the brain [What brain?-Ed] sorting things out. During the process we axed ideas for a third alien invasion or Israeli war novel.

So that's that. In just over a year we've published three novels imagining a nuclear war in 1975 and its aftermath. Alert readers of The New American Order will see potential for future novels. A war between India and Pakistan or maybe something in the Middle East. Israel vs Syria and...and France? Maybe. There's no business reason not to continue writing in this universe. We think a short story about someone watching events unfold on TV would be good. 'Breaking, odd cloud over Milwaukee!' That's very 9/11, and in 1975 TV news didn't work quite the way it did in 2001. Still, not bad.

In that period we also got World War 1990: The Weser out there. Each book in the World War 1990 series is a bit better than the last. Every one. Business being business, maybe the summer sneak in should be World War 1990: Esercito Italiano, a blatant attempt to expand into the Italian market.

New topic without proper segue...

We are told that the UK's deputy Prime Minister, Dominic Raab, has resigned for some reason. We don't care. the Tories have ruled for 13 years and have little to show for it. Bunch of tossers. Stroock's books endorses Labour Leader Kier Starmer for Prime Minister. Not joking.

Here in what's left of America, Trump is attacking DeSantis from the left on abortion and Disney. And Don Junior has said enough with the attacks on Bud Light*. You people still want this guy in 2024? Really?

Black Pill Will: We see scandal breaking on the Biden IRS story and the Hunter laptop story. These will be successfully deflected and go nowhere

*Pisswater. Wouldn't use it to put out a fire.
