Saturday Updates

Happy April. Insert April Fools Day joke here. We got nothing.

April is usually when we begin flying flags. Should we do it...? [ Do what-Ed?] You know...We got a box full of em, stacked on a basement shelf Raiders of the Lost Ark style.

A rainy day here in Bridgewater.

Services last night were led by Mrs. Stroock and Oldest Daughter as our Rabbi is in Israel on some personal business.

Excellent back-to-back days at the gym. For that matter an excellent week at the gym.

Our Twitter feed has become so doomy, we're considering deleting the account. Not General Nagid, who's having a great time. The real Will is who we want to delete. As usual, an internet effort hasn't accomplished what we wanted to accomplish.

The things.

2023 first quarter KU reads.

Man, nothing changes the law of books sales. Notice how the trend line drops and slows at a consistent pace. This amounts to a 20% drop off the sales peak per month, as always. Blue is 76, yellow is 75, red is The Weser. The rest is the backlist. By the end of this month the Weser was dropping to the sales level of all other backlist books.

The reading of The New American Order proceeds slowly because there is no reason for it to proceed quickly. The proofer still has the MS.

What a week for World War 1990: The Final Storm. We read, rewrote and edited the SAS chapter. Then we read, rewrote and edited the SAS chapter again. That's, like, all we did this week. Like, literally.  We said this week would be the week we finished that chapter. You fucked up. You trusted us. There's nothing more we can do with the SAS chapter right now. It must needs sit. It just does.
