Will's Good Idea for the Week of 7/2/23

We had a pleasant dinner with friends last night. We got the burger. So far, no gout. Meanwhile, the girls streamed a Taylor Swift concert. 

Last night we watched a movie, we'll talk about which movie this week. But we mention watching the movie because we recreated that old summer late-night feel. For years we've been a stickler for regular bed schedules, but it was Saturday night. What difference did it make if we stayed up till 12:30? The experience was pleasant and comforting. Why, it's almost like the summer of '87 and we just came in after a night of flashlight tag with Kevin, Owen, Steve, Meg, Nicole, PJ, Brian, Sabee, Samud and Jane. 

Zerohedge reports on the extended riots in France. Well, last winter we had hoped to be in France right about now. Phew. We see the riots there. We expect riots here. Internet....guy, we don't quite know what to call him, Mike Cernovich, says the regime will unleash riots in America in 2024. Exit question, why hasn't President Macron sent in the army?

Will's Good Idea for the Week of 7/2/23. This is more process than anything creative. We're going to get that Battle of Lyngen Fjord all sorted out and edited, and we're going to do the same with the interim chapter describing the aftermath and reaction. If anyone has thoughts on a vignette, we're listening. We're aiming high, goal of 7,000 words. Let's turn this mother out. [Oh for FFS-Ed]
