Will's Good Idea for the Week of 8/13/23

Our elbow, ankle and now our hamstring are sore after mowing the lawn yesterday. What the actual F? This is one of those, we're 50 and everything hurts mornings. 

We got a tornado warning in the middle of the night that sent Middle Daughter scurrying to the basement with the cats. Poor thing. 

We test drove a minivan yesterday. It was...okay? If we're going to spend REDACTED on a new minivan it better be more than okay. 

Will's Good Idea for the Week of 8/13/23. It's time to pause World War 1990: Norway. By which we mean we're going to go back to the beginning and read through what we have. Which is always a good idea, anyway. We're doing this because we're getting lots of ideas for the Tromso counterstrike, and we need to go back and look for places where we can put intro scenes. 

If we have a French Super Etenard pilot,* we don't want him just showing up on page 54 so that the reader is all like, 'A French Super Etenard pilot? oh...okay...' lay the groundwork. And also, hmmm....Marine Cobra gunships against the Soviet fleet in Tromso sound? Groundwork must needs be laid. Also, as we're doing this the ideas can percolate. 

*'We know what the Exocet can do against the British, mon capitain!'
