Ugh, the left big toe is still sore. No idea when we'll get back to the gym. We may force the issue tomorrow. That is, we may say 'Fuck it' and go to the gym. Actually, a good going over may be just what that toe needs. Maybe.
An anonymous commenter suggested RFK for president in the Red Dawn Thingy. Now that's kind of interesting. Way back in 1988 we read James Hogan's The Proteus Operation. The year is 1975 and the US is up against Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, and fascist South America. JFK is the president. Note, Hogan's work is a time travel
We've read the first four chapters of World War 1990: The Final Storm. We found smooth sentences and well organized paragraphs. We were actually pleased. We'll be reading set up chapters the next few days. What's happening in the Carribean? What are the Italians up to? Hmmm, we wonder if we should put the Roki Tunnel chapter back in. Maybe.
Thinking on...the more we think, the more we think Thatcher's War is the natural follow up to TFS. The last scene in TFS can lead to the first scene in TW. A few of you people are privy to our plans. Let's just say the IRA is going to make Maggie very, very angry. You wouldn't like Maggie when she's angry. Just ask the National Union of Miners or NUM. Huh, that's a lot of abbreviations. Maybe.
