A new poll from The Jerusalem Post tells us what we already know. The Israeli public is sick of Bibi. 'The Likud Party would only earn 16 seats if elections were held today, according to a poll published by Channel 13 on Thursday evening. The poll additionally found that Benny Gantz's National Unity party would earn 38 seats and Yesh Atid would earn 15 seats.' Bibi should win the war and step aside. By the way, Netanyahu's corruption trial is set to resume soon, and the court is going to release a ruling on the judicial overhaul law. We couldn't care less about these things right now.
According to polls at home, it is once more less likely that Trump will lose this week. We're not buying the optimism though. We were optimistic going into 2012, 2016, and 2020. We can no longer afford optimism, psychologically. It's hard to disagree with what Powerline says. Joe wins a squeaker.
Our US Army tank guy sent us a vid from his Israeli Army tank guy. Gaza looks like Stalingrad, not an exaggeration.
The things.
Sales of World War 1990: The Final Storm are gaining momentum but have not yet popped. Three ratings, 4.5 stars. We'll know pretty soon whether or not readers think the book sucks. Yesterday we deleted all of our TFS research links. It was glorious. Related: just saw this FB memory: 'Alright people, taking The Final Storm and breaking it in two...again: World War 1990: Battle of the Three Seas.' Note the verbiage, 'again'. Our best recollection is that Polish Storm was originally TFS. Have we mentioned how happy we are to put TFS behind us?
Our War Night short story about a single mom who has to pick up her kids after the bombs drop is progressing slowly but finely.
The read through of World War 1990: Norway is halfway complete. We are pleased but not satisfied. Hmmm, we're going to write a chapter on the destruction of the Soviet Northern Fleet. We're suddenly interested in a suicidal Soviet airborne attack on Oslo, with a Home Guard battalion defending the airport. Hmmm again....[we furrow our brow in contemplation]. We kinda, sorta, already did this is World War 1990: Nederland, no?
We really don't know what, if anything we're beginning on 1 January. We may begin 2024 working on War Night stories and finishing up Norway and not start something new till February. We didn't begin Norway till February.
Okay, we're off to pick up our womenfolk at the airport.
