Will's Good Idea for the Week of 12/17/23

We had dinner with friends last night at a fine Middle Eastern restaurant in nearby Manville. We made sure Oldest Daughter wasn't wearing her Jewish chai pendent. Would a chai have been a problem? Probably not. Probably. 

Mrs. Stroock is on vacation the rest of the year, which means she's going into cleaning and purging mode. Watch out, she damn near threw out a kid once. 

We hit the gym Friday and then walked five miles yesterday. We'll hit the gym again this morning. We need to figure out our exercise regimen for next year. Weights? We dunno. Hmmm our weight previously noted as 240-ish is now 245ish? Muscle [You wish-Ed]. Holliday season? [There you go-Ed]. Who can say. [Me. You're getting fat-Ed]

By now reader(s) have heard of Aidan Maese-Czeropski, the US Senate staffer who filmed himself having sex in a committee room. We were amused by this story, well, because:

We had a bad haircut but were a fine intern for Senator William V. Roth of Delaware. Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer working for Maryland Senator Ben Cardin, which suggests we as a nation are making progress, no? Hmmm, this blog suspects many in the Democrat Party will rise to Aiden's defense, insist his firing is discrimination, and make all the usual allegations. Love is love, right? Even in a senate committee room. 

Will's Good Idea for the week of 12/17/23. We could complete the rough draft of World War 1990: Norway by 12/31. That includes writing the air/sea battle epilogue. Exit question: we can't help but think that something is missing from Norway. What is that thing?

That Charlemagne idea is percolating. Could bring in some new readers. That is always a good thing. 

But shouldn't we just get started on World War 1990: Thatcher's War?
