30 by in 18

On Monday we bought a car. Yesterday we got a notice from the mortgage company that our mortgage is paid off. A thirty-year mortgage in 18 years. Not bad. How did we do it?

For starters, in 2005, when we were offered a million-dollar mortgage, we said no. 'And what do we eat?' We asked the mortgage specialist. Bear in mind we weren't on the phone with some dotcom mortgage company. We were at a bank with bank officers and FDIC membership and everything. We put down half the asking price, having lived DINK for several years and saved up a tonne of money. When we came into more money, like bonuses or inheritances, we put some towards the mortgage. Oh, and we've never had to own designer clothes, cars, general stuff, etc etc.

[Now what? New property? Beach House?-Ed] oh, fuck no. One lake house is more than enough hassle. College payments loom as well. And for the record, we ain't goin' nowhere.

The New York Post reports, 'New Jersey officials are making sure the Big Apple doesn’t dump the out-of-control migrant mess on the Garden State — and are even deploying cops to usher asylum seekers from the US border onto Manhattan-bound NJ Transit trains as soon as they get off their buses.' The Illegal Mexicans, et al, are dropped off at local train stations. The Post and other sources say 'chaperones' and local police send illegals on their way to New York City.  Destinations for Illegal Migrants include Trenton (state capital, serves 'em right, and Trenton is a dump), Secaucus (right across the river from Manhattan), and Edison.

Edison is interesting. It's the unofficial Indian capital of New Jersey and maybe America. Many of our neighbors have moved to Chindia from Edison. The town is about 15 minutes from here, and we've been to several Indian/Hindu social events there.  Democrat Mayor Samid 'Sam' Joshi, has rejected illegals in his town and called them both a security and health risk

So Claudine Gay is gone from the Harvard presidency. Gay had the shortest tenure of any president in Harvard's history, and rightfully so. A mediocrity, a Jew hater. Of course Gay's already got an op-ed in the New York Times in which she claims coveted victim status. Of course. If Gay thought she could get away with plagiarism, so did other DEI eligible college presidents. Our point is, keep scalp hunting. Because we recall some other victories where conservatives just stopped and rested on their laurels.*

A thoughtful article in the Jerusalem Post in which the author makes a point we've been making, 'The primary diplomatic objective should be clear: decisively dismantling Hamas in a manner that imprints a sense of overwhelming defeat in the [Gazan and West Bank Person] psyche.' Most Gazans think they won the various small wars Hamas has fought with Israel during the last 15 years. Heck, the average man on the street in Cairo thinks Egypt won the 1973 War. Egypt did not win the 1973 War.

The Arab does not respect restraint for, as we saw on 10/7, he has none. The Arab sees restraint as a sign of weakness. He only understands force. He only respects power. Parade surrendered Hamas terrorists naked through the streets. Destroy government buildings. Level every mosque. Burn every school. Conduct a victory parade and review of the IDF in Palestine Square. The Arab must know in his heart that he lost.

After consultations with a fellow North American, the World War 1990: Norway epilogue logjam has cleared. We'll write a scene or two for this chapter today.

Sales of World War 1990: The Final Storm are gaining momentum and TFS is threatening to crack the top 100 of its Amazon category.

*Rathergate, for instance, which will certainly be the subject of several 2004 and More posts this summer.
