Good Saturday morning, Stroock's Books commune.
Services last night. Girls pleased to ride to synagogue in the new Mobile Command Unit. They don't even need an aux or auxiliary cord to play there music now. They can just connect to the van's Wi-Fi. So we heard a lot of Harry and Taylor there and back.
We had a decent week at the gym, doing tonnes of cardio and gradually ratcheting up our weightlifting. So far we're just using light dumbbells. Our shoulder is still sore, on and off. We've no idea what to make of it. We probably just need rest. But the shoulder usually feels its best after working out.
The New York Post reports that the United States destroyed a Houthi radar in Yemen last night. Guys, we understand that Lindsey Graham watched the strike footage and is coping with an erection lasting more than four hours. But we must say again, defending the sealanes is why the United States Navy and Royal Navy exist. Be a heck of a novel, wouldn't it? Pinprick airstrikes, commando raids on terrorist locales, followed by a climactic attack on a terrorist stronghold. Hey, we already wrote that novel.
The Things.
We've begun work on War Night's nuclear missile silo crew scene. So far so good. What does one do when one has launched a Titan II missile and is waiting for an incoming Soviet warhead? What does one do when that warhead never arrives? By the way, the missile crews had no further mission after launching. No plan. They were on their own.
We've also broken open War Night's Alberta rancher story.
We are struggling along with the epilogue of World War 1990: Norway. The novel was fine as is and we're wondering if the epilogue worth the trouble? Are we wavering? You bet we are. If we really wanted to, we could begin reading a print out of the MS today.
Sales of World War 1990: The Final Storm have popped and remain steady after said popping. TFS has 27 reviews, 4.5 stars.
