Saturday Updates

Good Saturday morning, Stroock's Book Kibbutzim.

Our whirlwind trip to Epstein's in Hartsdale across the river in New York was a tremendous success in which our father celebrated his 78th birthday with all six of his grandchildren. We decided to skip the cemetery. It was too damn hot, and it ain't like our relatives are going to go anywhere anyway. We drove through heavy traffic on the way back, as it was the first Friday get away day of the summer, and a trip that should have taken one and a half hours took two and a half hours.

The Things:

We sent the World War 1990: Norway MS back to the formatter. This is it. We approach the formatting, as we do many things, with great fear and trepidation. No amount of editing, re-editing, checking, and checking the checks will assuage our fears. So, it's time to wrap it up. There is nothing more we can do to World War 1990: Norway. Next week.

We are now clear to work on World War 1990: Thatcher's War. We had another slow week with the MS. But with Norway done, we expect to bolt ahead this week and knock off a lot of scenes. We still must needs do a tremendous amount of research. We've much to learn. World War 1990: Thatcher's War is 12,000 words.

One month to go, and we've still no idea what we're writing for our World War Two alternate history submission.
