Thanksgiving AAR

The Hudson River was crossed. Family gathered. Meal consumed. The Hudson River recrossed. The Stroock family Thanksgiving was a smashing success and we were back home in our adopted home state of New Jersey by 6:30.

On the drive to and from Westchester we did some pretty good thinkin' about nuclear war at sea short story ideas. Our grognard noticed that in 1975 the US had few carriers in the Atlantic but something like half a dozen carriers in the Pacific. We seem to recall US policy at the time was to keep the fleet south of the GIUK Gap as part of Detente. Interesting....

Sports wrap....we didn't see one snap of the Lions/Bears game. We did, for some reason, listen to in the car and later watch the Cowboys/Giants game. News brief: the Giants suck. We didn't see the Dolphins/Packers game.

We see 1945 is publishing again. Hmmm....Wait! Looks like it may have new editorial leadership.

We have more evidence that Bibi twisted Joe's arm. JNS reports on the Lebanon ceasefire deal's secret Iran clause. It's short. Go read it. Does this agreement sound like Barry Soetoro's Iran Deal in reverse? We think this agreement sounds like Barry Soetoro's Iran Deal in Reverse. We'll explain. Joe was desperate to get a ceasefire, so he agreed to support an Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear program. No?  'We'll try to let you know when we hit Iran...'*

Oh look, Violent Blue Yonder is currently #14 in its Amazon Category.
