Saturday Updates

Good Saturday morning, Stroock's Books readership.

The election of House Speaker Mike Johnson was pretty painless. The GOP holds the White House and congress. No excuses, guys. Make Greenland Great Again.

We finally figured out how to order and add to book series on Amazon. We'll post the links when they're up. [That only took you what, a decade?-Ed]. This actually leads to some interesting questions. What, in fact, is the first book in the World War 1990 series, Arctic Storm or Norway? Right now the stand alone novels are books 8, 9, and 10.

Sometimes we think we'll do World War 1990: Romania, just to be a dick. IYKYK.

The things.

Our Saigon on the Themes story is 4,000 words. That's halfway done. There's lots of references to the Pacific War and how it was fought from the Aleutians to Hokkaido, and explanations about the Taft and current Wallace administrations.

We spent all week going over the set-up chapter in World War 1990: Thatcher's War. This chapter shows major leaders from earlier in the series and major leaders that will be important later in the series; Slobo, Saddam, and the like. The chapter is much, much better than it was, but not as better as it must needs be.

We didn't work on War Night at all. What's up with that? Next week.
