Will's Good Idea for Trump's Inauguration Week

One more day! Can't wait. [Until 12 hours ago you thought the inauguration was on Tuesday-Ed].

A mix of panic, despair, and resignation befell the Stroock house at 10 PM last night, 'It's done! It's off line!' Middle Daughter ran into our bedroom and shouted. 'Tik Tok is gone!' We are reliably informed that Trump does have the authority to postpone the shutdown 90 days if a sale is being negotiated. The Stroock girls are suddenly big MAGA fans. Trump is 100 % wrong here. 

We're supposed to get 6-8 inches of snow today. Yesterday we revamped and readied the snow blower. Gee, change the oil and it stops belching thick exhaust. Who knew? Ready for snow, we are.

Well the Detroit Lions sure choked it up last night against the Redskins, didn't they? The Kansas City Chiefs and the refs defeated the Houston Texans. Jesus, NFL, could you be any more blatant. Reminder, the NFL will use the officials to encourage desired outcomes. 

In Israel the ceasefire is in effect and the government is ready to receive three hostages. Galling days lay ahead. Tough days. Tough but necessary. We wondered about the Israeli Parthian shot. We wonder no more. They targeted several Hamas military parades assembling just before the ceasefire, killing dozens of terrorists - per Israel Radar.  Israel Radar also points out that there was no Parthian shot from Hamas. Who holds the whip hand here? 

We don't really have a good idea for Trump Inauguration Week. All we can say is World War 1990: Thatcher's War is finally taking shape. Oh, on Substack we changed our thumbnail pick to the World War 1990: Operation Arctic Storm book cover. We are on pace to sell fewer books than we did last month but make more money. Exit question: is a temporary revenue increase retarding the longterm sales footprint?
