Good afternoon impatient Stroock's Books associates.
Overnight we had yet another light snowstorm leaving an inch of snow on the ground. The ever-cautious school district delayed opening for two hours. This isn't unreasonable actually, as a good chunk of the district lies on a mountainside. This is, we think, our eight minor snowstorm and we're getting another one tonight. Okay...cleared that off in about half an hour. Things seem to be melting nicely. Nice bit of cardio there too.
We dunno, what's cookin' today?
Between saying the US is taking over Gaza and telling Hamas that all the hostages better be released by Saturday, Trump is running diplomatic rings around the Arabs. They literally have no idea what to do. Literally. We love it. Yesterday Trump humiliated Jordan's King Hussien and got him to take two thousand Gazan kids 'immediately.' This will of course include their parents and assorted siblings. You can get that number up to 10,000 easily. The transfer of Gazans to more humane living conditions begins. Reminder, the Gazan and West Bank Person state is in fact Jordan.
Yesterday we continued our work on three scenes depicting the Battle of Waterside in World War 1990: Thatcher's War. We're cooking, just cooking, as the kids say. Now, how to get the UVF and UFF into the fray? We're thinking an interlude scene where the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland is briefed, 'I better inform Number 10....' and from there we can hand things over to some Protestant gunmen. Ah there we go, over to the Protestant gunmen.
World War 1990: Thatcher's War is turning into a meditation on urban sectarian warfare, which is not what we planned. Not what we planned at all. For all the Jew's cleverness, as the imams say, he plans and God still laughs. Oh well. We always look for ways to differentiate WW1990 novels, and here we are differentiating a WW1990 novel. Bravo!
