Ah, we slept in a bit this morning...Good Saturday morning, Stroock's Books weekenders.
Yesterday we had gotten ourselves dressed and told Mrs. Stroock that we were heading to the urgent care to get our knee looked at. She told us not to bother as they would probably just give us anti-inflammatory meds. We already have those. So we went to the gym instead, and the knee feels a lot better this morning. Still can't do the rowing machine though.
The Things: we 'finished' the Battle of Derry chapter of World War 1990: Thatcher's War. Yesterday we began rereading the opening prologue chapter. We fear were bogged down in all this Troubles business and have already cut a scene. World War 1990: Thatcher's War is 50,000 words [Jesus. You're like, maybe halfway-Ed].
We await the cover and formatted proof of War Night and should receive them Monday. We did some preliminary thinking about a second nuclear war short story combo. Just preliminary, but if War Night does well, there's no reason not to work on a second combo during the summer. These will be fodder for Will's Good Idea for the week of 3/16/25.
I feel your pain with your knee both of mine and one of my ankles has been in constant pain since I got out of the Marines some days I can barely walk
