Will's Good Idea for the Week of 3/23/25

A good Sunday morning to Christian reader(s) of Stroock's Books and everyone else.

We awoke this morning to a knee which was positively on fire. Frankly, we're becoming concerned. Seems a bit better now. Baaah, we've thought for a while that our body could use a gym break anyway. We'll do a little light yard work today just to fight off atrophy.

Our sojourn across the dread Hudson River went just fine. As it happens there's a giant cosmetics store a couple of doors down from the kosher deli so....reader(s) will know what we did next [How do you not hear that?-Ed]. From there we made the ritual trip to the cemetery. Did you know Jews aren't supposed to put flowers on tombstones or send them to funerals? Nope, we use rocks. The idea is one does not kill something in mourning.

So a scandal has broken out in which conservative influencers have been paid by the soft drink companies to oppose Trump's proposed ban on using welfare benefits to buy soda. Whatevs. Hey, Unilever! hey Inbev! We are not cheap, but we can be had. Call us!

Will's Good Idea for the Week of 3/23/25...so we just finished editing the Kristol, Abrams, Negroponte opening scene in World War 1990: Thatcher's War. This got us thinking about World War 1990: Castro's Folly. There's a lot of Contra raids and battalion level engagements between the Honduran army and the Nicaraguan army. These work pretty well. The Las Vegas Salient is a pretty important part of Castro's Folly

So why can't Londonderry, or Derry for you papal practitioners of priestcraft, be an important part of World War 1990: Thatcher's War? [See? told you this would happen -Ed.]
