We had a wet, drizzly day here in New Jersey. Most excellent.
Four days in a row at the gym. Our knee warned us yesterday that it is not yet 100 percent. You see getting dressed we bonked the knee with our heel...yikes that hurt.
[Any stock tips?-Ed] Yes. Buy low, sell high. Kick the bears, ride the bulls. [Gee, thanks-Ed].
More negotiations...Direct talks with Iran?! Wow! [You're worried about this, no?-Ed]. No. [Why not-Ed?] Two words, Donald effing Trump. Trump has moved carriers and the dread B2 Bombers into the region and has established a credible threat via the Houthi campaign. In the end he can always walk away. Trump is negotiating from a position of strength and is a friend to Israel.*
Related....If Naftali Bennett were to run in 2026 his theoretical party would win 29 Knesset seats and President Herzog would ask him to form the next government, according to the latest poll. Likud wins 21 seats. The remaining 70 seats are scattered all over the place. We saw another poll that had Bibi's approval rating at 36 percent. Bibi's been in office a long, long time. Do note it's certainly possible that Bibi could batter Bennett during the campaign and come out ahead once again.
DOGE report: we got nothing done on Thatcher's War yesterday. Sometimes there just ain't no juju. We could write a lot of cabinet meetings, 'Taoiseach, London's demands are unreasonable,' and watching news on the telly scenes, 'Sources say a businessman from Texas, H Ross Perot, is considering a run for president.' But would that really be interesting? It would? Okay...
But we did feel some buzz for more nuclear war stories. That project is contingent on War Night's Sales. Speaking of...We finished the last story in War Night. MS goes back to formatters this week.
*Barry Soetoro hates Israel and Jews, had no credible deterrent, and had to have a deal no matter what. So Barry made a bad deal which he didn't even submit to the senate for ratification.
