Dogged on a Thursday

Good afternoon Stroock's Books enthusiasts.

Day nine of solitude. We kept quite busy yesterday with writing and errands and such. [When did this blog become Will's Daily Diary? Ed] We dunno. Do you really want our hot take and deep thoughts on the Comey/Brennan investigation or Jeffrey Epstein? [No-Ed]. We didn't think so.

Cloudy and humid Yankee summer is here...here with extreme prejudice. It's not even Bastille Day it we already feel like we're in the Dog Days.

Three days in a row at the gym, topping off with weights yesterday (what a grind). We could use a break. But then we get bored, and tired, and wonder whatever shall we do late afternoon.

Related: once more we tried listening to Black Sabbath at the gym. The result was another 'meh'. Maybe we need to be drunk, or something. We dunno.

Ant War: Yesterday we spotted two ant columns crawling up the exterior of the house toward the window we nuked yesterday. We struck both columns from the air. We saturated the ground beneath them too. An all-around bad day for the ants.

Israel: The Israeli army is fighting in Gaza, killing terrorists, destroying infrastructure and generally undermining Hamas...Yada, yada, yada. Negotiations continue apace. Last week they [Them?-Ed] were saying a day or two. Now we're hearing a week or two. Continued war in Gaza pays diminishing dividends while the value of ending the war increases.

Jeffrey Epstein: either he killed himself and there is no client list or...the Trump Administration is in on it. Which one do reader(s) think is more likely. Hmmm....if one was sex trafficking to/for billionaires, would one write down all the names?

YouTube: we are increasingly annoyed by YouTube, as it seems it interrupts videos every five minutes or so for a commercial. And don't get us started on those annoying 15 second ads in the beginning.
