Good morning from the Jersey Shore once again, supporters of the Stroock's Books liberation front.
What can we say? We had a lovely morning and afternoon at the beach yesterday. The air was good. The water was better. We are red/tan and turning the standard apricot colour we turn when at the beach. The sun loves us. Which makes sense. Afterall, our people come from the desert. [Oh yeah? Well, half your people come from northern England and Scotland-Ed]. Where the sun never comes out. Which probably explains why we turn red first. That's just science.
We will probably return home tomorrow evening.
Jersey beat: Our very own Bridgewater/Raritan High School: 'A recent graduate of Bridgewater-Raritan High School has sued the district, alleging her former gym teacher bullied her because of her Muslim faith, dark skin and Egyptian background.' Well, that's just great, isn't? it. So proud.*
Related: T-minus ten days till Oldest Daughter moves into Rutgers. We approach this date with... [great fear and trepidation?-Ed] Great fear and trepidation. There way be some post move in self-medication.
Mike Cernovich is absolutely right. 'Cernovich: Breitbart News Was Original MAGA'. We read Breitbart from the first damn day, when it was still Big Hollywood. After Andrew Breitbart died, the site seemed adrift to us, and we ourselves drifted away. But in 2016 Breitbart got its mojo back with Trump. Read the article and remember that there is a direct line from Andrew Breitbart to Donald
DOGE report: Yesterday during the afternoon down time we wrote a few scenes for the Battle of Ardee.
We did some good thinking, we did, about When the Missiles Stopped: Stories of the Great Nuclear War of 1975. Our ideas are coagulating. These include a few stories we never got to with War Night. We think Kenny and Aoife will be returning. [When are you going to write this?-Ed]. No idea.
Book sales are solid for August. Solid but moody. Up one day. Down the next. Up again. It's like living with a bipolar woman [You're one to talk -Ed]. I am. I am. Anyway, we're moving some Great Nuclear War of 1975 audiobooks too. This indicates to us that we should put the rest of our catalogue on Kindle audio too, no? Maybe 1 September.
*That's irony for the irony impaired out there. Also, the morons.
