Good afternoon, Stroock's Book people.
We had a splendid day at the beach with sunny skies, cool water, and fun waves. We write this during a late afternoon thunderstorm, as is common here down the shore, as one says in New Jersey.
In our typical beach people watching turn, we've noticed a lot of Millennial parents - with tattoos. Some of these tattoos are quite gruesome. These are the 18 and 19 year old students we had a decade and a half ago. We tried to warn them. Sure the waterfall off the shoulder looks cool now. But one day you'll be a 35 year old mother at the beach and that waterfall will fade and stretch. So spoke Professor Stroock. So it was.
Also, the typical college age bathing beauty looks like a child to us now, and we're not just saying that because we have a child going to college in less than two weeks. The most beautiful women we've seen at the beach this week were at least 30. [You're just old, Knobhead-Ed]. So we are...so we are...
Speaking of youth....we went to a concert in the park last night, pushed indoors because of rain. The band played two dozen 60's era British invasion songs. We knew every one. Sitting across from us was a pair of young college age couples. We don't think they knew a single song. In any event, the band was good.
