L'Shana Tova, people of Stroock's Books and happy new year.
What do we got?
Blog traffic is up lately and we're getting it from some very interesting sources, including Yale. Yale? Look at us! Look at this, Fox News! Don't ask us what the hell is going on. Anyway, new visitors to Stroock's Books, why not sample our latest novel, War Night: Stories of the Great Nuclear War of 1975? You can also ring in the Jewish new year with a bang and pick up a copy of Israel Strikes.
What else?
Staying Jewy...Hamas wants to make a deal again, offering Trump half the hostages in exchange for a 60 day truce. Nope. All of them. Now. And you have 48 hours to get out of the Middle East. Otherwise finish it, Bibi. Not peace. Victory.
And...
The left can't shut the fuck up about Charlie Kirk. They can't. They won't. We've listened to some news recaps (thank you Ben Shapiro) and watched some clips. No, the intense Christianity of the memorial participants does not bother this Jew. Quite the contrary. We believe it was Dennis Praeger who said Judaism needs an intense and confident Christianity in America. The secularists are in the streets shouting, 'Free Palestine!'.
Yep. Our own synagogue will have armed security today. And it ain't the Charlie Kirk fans we're worried about. Reminder, there has never been a better place for Jews, al Yahud, der Juden, than America. That includes Israel.*
In New Jersey...
The Babylon Bee has a good writeup of New Jersey's gubernatorial debate. Looks like Jack landed a few good punches on Mikie. Jack's campaign released an internal poll showing him beating Mikie 46-45. We proceed with caution. We will say Mikie Sherrill's campaign hasn't quite found its voice, its mo. We see plenty of Mikie Sherrill signs about. She remains the favorite.
Okay, we're off to get in a New Year's Judaism.
