Born in 1973, by 1978 we were aware of the world around us. We remember seeing a lot of stuff that looked like this on TV, like the infamous Buy the World a Coke commercial. They must have run that thing 'till 1980. 

Looking at 70's era art, one gets the sense that they never thought it'd get dated. This is the future and the future is now. Our mother had several of those long sleeved and sleeveless shirts. And if you're our age, somewhere lie pictures of you with a bowl haircut and a rugby shirt. Still, there's something fascinating about this performance and it's hard to put one's finger on it.

The kids are totally creepy, though. It was the 70's, man.

Look people, we don't know if it's battered wife syndrome. We don't know if it's jaded lover syndrome. We don't know if it's a matter of our public school system being so deteriorated that people just don't speak English anymore.

Whatever the reason, we have a failure to communicate. So repeat after us: There. Is. No. Deal.

That is there is no deal in which Trump traded away the wall for DACA.

Last night the House passed a budget with 1.6 billion for a border wall.

That's three strong pieces of evidence against Trump making a deal.
