Metal Monday Remembrance Day Edition

Usually we do Iron Maiden Paschendale, right?

Something a  litte different this year, Bryan Adams, Remembrance Day:

This is the Canadian angle of course, and they had a fine army in the Great War and later in World War Two. Adams' writes some really good lyrics. We like this one in the third verse:

By October of 18, Cambrai had fallen..

With the background music this line really seems to capture the feel of that moment, by which we mean a palpable excitement comes through memoirs of the time. The generals knew they had the Hun reeling, and all that remained left to do was deliver one final blow.

Next year is the big 100. Then what?
