Tuesday Tally

All Right Now Edition

Free's All Right Now is probably the first classic rock song we ever liked, first heard during the summer of 1990 on New York's 102.7. Best riff in rock n rock we say. And what a guitar solo. Great work by lead singer Paul Rodgers too.

Here are the top All Right Now performances:

1- The classic, the original, the best. This is the stock performance one usually sees, but there are others:

2- About a decade ago, when Queen toured with Paul Rodgers. The best guitar player ever playing the best riff ever. This performance is in Kiev. And check all the Russian hotties, or Ukrainian anyway. Skip to 48:30:

I don't think the Yukes knew the words.

3- This one is by Laura Cox. Great version and neat to hear it sung by a woman. She puts a little twist on the riff, which we like to use too. Some really nice licks on the solo. Never doubt that girls can rock. Cute, too:
