Me: 'Bonjour, Madam! Aimeriez-vous pour obtenir quelque chose à boire à chez mois?'
Mrs. Stroock: 'What did you just ask?'
Me: 'I just asked a young woman if she wants to get something to drink at my place.'
Mrs. Stroock: 'What?'
Me: 'We're going to France. I have to be prepared.'
Mrs. Stroock is graciously allowing us to sleep under porch until we can find accommodation.
