1/9/20 in New Jersey (MVS Edition)

If you've ever dealt with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Service, you're reading this and nodding your head:
A woman angry about long lines at the Motor Vehicle Commission office in Bayonne smashed computer equipment, assaulted a manager and security guard and kicked police officers, authorities said. [REDACTED]* 28, of Jersey City, was charged with criminal mischief, drug possession, simple assault, aggravated assault, resisting arrest and hindering apprehension Tuesday afternoon, Bayonne Lt. Eric Amato said.
Actually the MVS works a lot better now. When we moved here in 2001 one had to grab little cardboard forms, fill them out, hand them to the time serving old lady behind the desk and hope for the best. Former governor Jim McGreevy, of all people, fixed it. The MVS was a far cry from the swift, efficent red state era Virginia DMV which handled Mrs. Stroock's marriage name change in a matter of minutes.

The Bayonne assailant punched people and broke things. Readers will not be surprised to find out drugs came into play.
