Meanwhile, they rioted in Kenosha. More clips here. Another town turned over to the mob by a Democrat mayor and a Democrat governor. The Democrat Party loves riots and hates you. Remember that. Decorum and common decency, something these people lack, prevents us from writing what we think should happen. Sooner or later someone is going to open fire in defense of their business and then the public will have to make a choice. We know where we'll stand.
Work continues on multiple fronts. We've done lots of good reading about government continuity plans and what not. Lots of plans had they, but we're not sure how realistic they were. There was plenty of infrastructure for sheltering VIPs, though one wonders how much of it the Soviets knew about. Did they know about the Greenbrier? There was also Raven Rock, Mount Weather, a slew of comm relay bunkers dug deep into the ground...Right now our vision is the president lands in Casper and is more or less on his own as various parts of the government are tracked down and reactivated. As to who and how much survives, it really depends on how much warning there was. At this moment there's a hint that the crisis has been brewing for a few days. There's no long lead up.
