Angry Old Man Shouts at Camera While Will has fun at the Beach

We had a full day yesterday: beach, pool, mini golf, amusement park. Our eight year old blew through 30 bucks, or quid for you Brits*, trying to bash a frog onto a lily pad. We got downright emotional when she finally hit one. I mean, her sad, frustrated, sunburnt face just lit up...

The amusement park is definitely feeling the worker shortage. Many of the games were closed. We saw very few masks there. We hardly see them anyplace here on LBI**. You know what we don't see much of here in Beach Haven? Indians. There are half a million Indian residents in New Jersey, so this seems strange. Maybe they're hitting beaches further up shore, closer to Edison?*** 

Good news. We picked up some more beer and liked it. We may even have another this afternoon.

August book sales were down about 20% over July, which were down about 20% over June. We're not complaining. We remember July to August sales 2009, which dropped fifty percent. That is, from eight copies of A Line Through the Desert to four. There was no KU yet and we hadn't caught on to digital sales. Took us a year to move our first hundred.

So Joe effed up his meeting with the Gold Star families. As Barry Soetoro once said...Everyone use this. Show no mercy. Remember a certain Gold Star mother using her son's death to bash Bush?**** 

Hundreds of Americans are left behind in Joeganistan. A Sacramento class of Afghan Americans. A three year old. A translator that rescued Joe.  

We're kinda out of things to say. No we're not.   They're really gonna stick with spinning this as Dunkirk and the Berlin Airlift all rolled into one. If these people think the 'optics' [JFC-Ed] are bad now, wait till evacuees tell their story. Wait till Afghans stagger across the border to BBC camera crews. To say nothing of coming child brides, beheadings, etc etc.

You know, last week Tim Pool wondered if the Biden Admin planned this half-ass bugout knowing what would follow. This blog doesn't think so. The left is impervious to empirical data. Hence the ongoing mask mandates. Inflation, border surge...they really thought things would be fine.
