Good Monday Morning, Stroock's Books commune.
Because we hope to go to France again next year, we are trying French again now. This time with Dual Lingo. Should we break out the CDs again? We got a tonne of laundry to fold this afternoon and we could.... [Why are you doing this to yourself? -Ed]. We'll see.
Sticking with the French theme, France 24 reports, 'Final results provided by the Interior Ministry give Macron’s coalition 245 of the chamber’s 577 seats. That’s 44 seats short of an absolute majority and more than a hundred-seat drop from the 346 seats it held until this weekend’s elections.' Another report at France 24 says, 'Marine Le Pen’s far-right Rassemblement National (National Rally, or RN) made historic gains in Sunday’s French parliamentary election second round, on track to win 90 seats according to projections by Ipsos – a score way beyond the record gains polls predicted.' Vive le France!
According to Scotusblog there are two Supreme Court decision days left, Tuesday and Thursday. We think there are 18 cases pending, so we expect the court to add decision days to the last week of June. Maniac, crazy-cat-lady-in-training protestors were at Justice Barrett's house this weekend. Other groups are calling for a 'night of rage'. These people are fucking nuts.
Meeting your Juneteenth needs, our article on The Grand Review of 1865.
We sent The Weser to the publisher last night.
So, what are we doing today? We either edit The Final Storm or work on The New American Order. No idea. The Final Storm it is.
Monday Metal....when you got nuthin' you still got The Answer. This is a promo clip from the Wilkes-Barre arena show when the Answer was opening for AC/DC. This is the first show of the tour. I was there, center stage, about 10 rows back. And that's the night I fell in love with The Answer:
