Will gets to 300

Today is Decision Day at the Supreme Court. Check out SCOTUSblog. We don't expect the big one. But who knows?

Naftali Bennett's government has collapsed, The Times of Israel, reports. 'The coalition had recently limped from crisis to crisis, and faced the real possibility of the opposition clinching a majority to bring it down. Instead, Bennett and Lapid decided to end things on their own terms, announcing they will initiate legislation next week to dissolve parliament and send Israel to its fifth general election in three-and-a-half years.' The ToI also has an article on how Netanyahu brought down the current government. The Author seems to think Bibi is in great shape for the coming election this October.

Netanyahu it is, then.

Sticking with al Yahud, Powerline thinks big things are happening in the Middle East. Steven Heyward writes,  'In other words, I think Biden visiting the Saudis to talk about energy is a cover story for something else. Remember that Biden is stopping in Israel first. I suspect the Israelis may be ready to go big on Iran, since we aren’t serious about stopping Iran’s nuclear weapons program. Or maybe we are too, but won’t admit it.' I dunno. I've thought that before too but nothing happened. This blog expects more of the same; Iran making moves, Israel making countermoves, followed by Israeli moves.

The good Colonel makes the case for Donald Trump, his closer: 'Anyone who tells you that Trump cannot win is wrong. He can. He has powerful winds behind him, some of them of his making, some historical, and he has a fantastic record that contrasts starkly with the legacy of bungling of his successor. Trump has been blessed with incompetent opponents who have made everyone hate them. So, a win is not out of the question. Trump has real reasons to run, if he chooses.' Quite right. On Thursday the Colonel makes the case against Trump.

This blog endorses Ron Desantis for president. Though it should be said Trump 2024, Desantis 2028 has a nice feel to it. Why not? Many of the president's boosters ask. True, why not? We'll tell you why not. The age of Trump has passed. The age of Desantis is about to begin.

The Great Nuclear War of 1975 has 300 + ratings with an average of 4.1 stars. Not bad. We were looking over The New American Order yesterday and liked what we saw. We experienced more of the same with The Final Storm. That is, we read short, inadequate scenes that we feel need a lot of work. But the narrative is there. Welcome to Operation Long Slog.
