One more case to go

And once again John Roberts votes with the majority, this time in the Bruen case on gun rights. Hmmm, gun rights, religious rights, Roberts is doing great. Today is the court's last decision day, which means we get the Dobbs case. Theory: Roberts voted with the majority on all those cases because he's about to screw the right on Dobbs. This is only a theory, we're not saying that's going to happen. Or are we? We'll know in a few hours.

Expect screeching harpies and much rendering of garments. Which will be fun to watch. But the left has promised violence if the court overturns Roe. Will they go through with it? We are all ready seeing a rash of statements from the Dems about not only packing the court but nullifying it. This is the next phase.

Violence + nullification. How bad will it get?

On a side note, let's remember something about Justice Thomas. He was appointed by President George Herbert Walker Bush, who had the stones to stick with the man through the witch hunt - led by Joe Biden. Justices Roberts and Alito were appointed by W. The Bush dynasty isn't quite as bad as those of us on the right like to think, is it?

Update: They're adding another day, maybe? I shrug.

Upperdate: They did. The bastards did it. And Roberts sided with the majority.

Moving on to der Juden, in Israel, we're back to the same old deadlocked electorate: 'The poll found that opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party would receive 34 mandates, Yesh Atid headed by Yair Lapid 21, Religious Zionism led by Bezalel Smotrich 9, Benny Gantz’s Blue and White 8, United Torah Judaism led by Moshe Gafni 7, Merav Michaeli’s Labor 7, Aryeh Deri’s Shas 7, Joint List led by Ayman Odeh 6, and Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beytenu 5.' We can't help but think that Bibi stepping aside might clear up things. Think of the killing you'll make on the American speaking tour, Bibi.

It's officially summer in the Strock household. We're headed for the beach on Monday and we still can't think of anything to read. What the heck? It doesn't help that our library is still all boxed up. Cold War, USSR, War Between the State....we got nuthin.

Below, your Friday flag, topical as ever:
