Just 25 more posts to go till 5000. We're impressed. Should we do retrospectives? Should we repost our favorite posts? The thing about that...Blogger changed the way one can find old posts. They're not listed chronologically anymore. We'd have to scroll through or search them out. A pain. Perhaps it's best if Stroock's Books goes out with a whimper.

After previously arguing for Donald Trump. Kurt Schlichter makes the case against Donald Trump. The colonel says Trump lacks discipline. He points to Trump's kvetching about 2020. He says Trump made horrible personnel decisions. President Trump is old. And besides, DeSantis waits in the wings. Think about it.
If MAGA men don't want President Trump to run, we must slowly, surely, and respectfully create the environment where he concludes the odds are against him and he stays out. Articles like Schlichter's are a good way to do that.

Hmmm...in The New American Order, Quebec secedes but this leads to immediate trouble with various Indian tribes who launch a guerilla war against chauvinistic Frenchmen. Yes, the Qs don't have the guts to do it in our world, but could and would in 1970s post nuclear Canada.
