Middle Daughter's bat mitzvah is in two days. We have a speech and dance routine to practice. Both are on track. The womenfolk are deep into planning and prep, and it is the wise husband/father that does what he's told.

The Israeli election is on 1 November. The Times of Israel rails against the rising Religious Zionist Party. Author David Horowitz accuses leaders Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotric of wanting to expel Arabs, annex Judea/Samaria and gut Israel's court system. Stop making the RZP sound awesome. We kid, we kid. The ToI also explains that the RZP's rise does not occur in a vacuum, pointing to 'Palestinian' violence, Arab/Israeli unrest and criminality and Arab Knesset member anti-Zionism. Remember, the Israeli right-bloc is Likud plus the religious parties. Polls show the race deadlocked.
Meanwhile the Israel/Lebanon maritime border treaty is a done deal. Israel is pumping natural gas from the Karish field. Get a load of what it takes to negotiate with crazy anti-Israeli Arabs who call Israel 'the Zionist entity', 'Lebanon does not recognize Israel in the framework of the deal and did not negotiate directly; as such, each country’s delegation will be in a different room. In addition, Beirut said repeatedly that it does not consider the agreement to be a form of normalization.'
We listened to part of Lex Freidman's interview with Kanye West. Stroock's Books believes Kanye West is so smart he's nuts. His perspective is just very different. Right or wrong he makes connections the rest of us don't make. Does Kanye West hate Jews? We shrug. We doubt he hates anybody, He just see's things differently, and see's things the shysters at the ADL don't want Gentiles to see. This blog 100% opposes the current spate of Kanye West censorship. We're glad we're a Metalhead.
