We have state jury duty starting next Friday. Delightful. The courthouse is a ten-minute drive from our home, thank the Lords of Kobol.
The things.
There's a definite correlation between plugging the Israel Strikes series on Twitter and spiking November sales.
A truncated week with the trip to Disney World, obviously. But we did get a few things done and made some progress on open projects.
The Aftermath of 1976's proof is done. We're just waiting for the Kindle version. Once we have that we'll upload and publish. Next week, people.
We've read the first three chapters of The New American Order. The first chapter is three scenes that feel like a cold open. The first chapter may need more scenes. The second chapter shows President Rockefeller and congress at the Greenbrier prior to his inauguration. The third chapter shows foreign leaders listening to the president's speech. We'll do a little work on that foreign chapter next week. We are pleased overall.
We've been researching Norway in the Cold War and have learned some interesting things about Norwegian defenses, Soviet war plans, etc etc. Norway could definitely be it's own book, but will it? There's a Netherlands book. There will be an Italian book. Writing World War 1990: Norge is not a bad idea. But calling the book Norge is a bad idea. No one but the Scandis will know what I'm talking about.
We've put out a query to an online magazine we've written for previously about writing a few pieces for them. We are also casting about for foreign news sources that might be interested in our work. Yes, we're trying to recreate our Inforos gig, but with at least 50% less Russia collision. Would Brazilian collusion even be a thing?
Who on Earth is going to give you a microphone and allow you to take the stand?
