Good gym session yesterday. We felt a twinge in our knee when on the treadmill. Maybe we should take today off.
We never saw a QB throw four interceptions in the first half and throw four TDs in the second. Were we not entertained?
We awake this morning having spent a lot of time thinking about and dwelling upon the reasons why we're just not happy with World War 1990: The Final Storm. The MS is big, bulky, clunky, and takes a long time to get to where it's going. Let's try trimming.
Also, you know, we've no idea what the B-52, B-1s and B-2s are doing. We may only need to handle that with one line of dialogue. But we had envisioned a role for Strike Group Savage. Remember them? We shall see. But at the moment, while most scenes are fine, organizationally we're looking at a mess.
On the bright, side sales of The Aftermath of 1976 have popped and remain popping. As always a good selling book is dragging up sales
We spent some time going through unpublished magazine articles we have sitting around. The bastards at Decision Games are sitting on some of them, we're sure. We have a piece on the 4th Crusade that would be perfect for a magazine that has an upcoming 4th Crusade issue topic. But they want us to jump through some hoops for a publishing query. We're William Stroock. We don't need to jump through hoops. This ain't 2004.
Randomly...We've been thinking about our 2543 space drama, and we've been having lots of good little ideas. American naval uniforms are white with blue piping, for example. Reminder, there's no Earth government. The Martian uniforms are black shirts with white pants? In The Expanse they were black with red trim. Sharp.
Jump through hoops? As if you would fit through a bloody hoop.
