We had excellent back-to-back days at the gym over the weekend.

We began our lawn refurbishment program yesterday, raking and tilling to get up the dead grass and churning the dirt over for seeding. We will do this at least a couple of more times. Our goal is mostly to have something to do weekend afternoons. 

We hit Barnes and Noble in a desperate attempt to find a flash of inspiration for a reading project. We experienced no flash.

Happy Commonwealth Day to all of Stroock's Books' subjects of the Crown. And God Save the King. 

A second bank is shut down by the Feds, eh? With several more suspended trading. Trust me, there will be no financial crisis- Charles Foster Kane.

Multiple sources report Bibi's judicial reform vote will happen this week. The speed with which this legislation is proceeding shows the weakness of Bibi's position, is it not? Why rush?

The Times of Israel asks an interesting question, 'Are Jews a racial group?' A toughie. This blog's first pass answer is yes, of course. Jews are generally Mediterranean looking. Olive skin, dark hair. See Gal Gadot, gentlemen, or Ben Shapiro, ladies [huuuurl!-Ed]. Our father looks like a Jew. But no one would see us and say, 'Look, there's one.' The sun does love us, and we tan magnificently. All three of our daughters would be welcomed with open arms in Livermore, Kentucky, our matriarchical homeland from where we get out blond hair and blue eyes. Of course 23 and Me tells us we're 46.8 percent Ashkenazi Jew. 

What Will's Watching: MH370, the Plane that Disappeared. The set up and description of the event in episode one is solid. But the subsequent episodes about the investigation are an incoherent mess. The doc presents three theories, each more outlandish than the last. One aviation journo posits that since MH370 went missing a few days after the Crimea crisis, and there were three 'ethnic Russians' on the plane and since the Russians [or Ukrainians-Ed] shot down MH17 a few months later, then the Russians must have brought down MH370. This journo might as well blame 'The Jews'. In the end, nobody knows nothing. 2/4

We are editing the SAS raid on REDACTED in World War 1990: The Final Storm. We wish we had our KGB handler around to ask him a few questions like. When talking about Red Square, does one reference the 'north' and or the 'south' end.

Monday Metal, Monday Bad Metal. Slithering onto MTV in late 1989, this is how we knew the whole metal thing was coming to an end. EnuffzNuff. Mega peace symbols, day-glo, etc etc. Filler riffs are a sure sign of hackdom. Feels like a discount Poison. It's impossible to be more Bad Metal than this. JFC. Grunge pretty much had to happen.
